Job description: |
Two PAID internship positions
available in the Cleanup and Paint Department. This project is a
very good opportunity for animators to get work on a film. Everyone
involved in this project will receive either film credit, or in the
case that Wetsand receives “studio credit” Wetsand will
provide a film credit list on the company website. An internship
with Wetsand is also a ticket into a future with the company. Interns
will be at the top of the list of talent for additional paid positions
when Wetsand takes on/starts new projects in the near future. If
participants decide to seek work elsewhere after completing their
internship, a letter of reference from Brian Finlay – Wetsand
Animation Studio Director will be provided. Interns will also be
permited to utilize scenes they have worked on in their demo reel
after the film has been released. |

Requirements/skills: |
We are looking for people with well-rounded artistic and animation skills. Both positions are in-house so we are looking for local tallent only. Interns will be expected to work 40 hours a week. Applicants must be familiar with both Flash MX and using a graphics tablet. The animation production process at Wetsand is classically based and almost entirely accomplished in Flash. Wetsand will prvide SOME additional training, but applicants should bring a good understanding of the cleanup animation process to the table. |
