Skybear is a side-scrolling bullet-hell shmup, which basically means a lot of bullets everywhere that you have to dodge while you try to shoot the crazy amount of enemies that are on screen. Currently, there is no difficulty setting within the game itself and a few of the textures on some of the enemies are not working properly. Also, Skybear's animations never made it into the game. However, the game itself works and I think it is a lot of fun.

The team is planning on fixing the few textures that don't work and adding the difficulty settings within the game itself, however, so that should change pretty soon. Right now, however, there are two .exe's. One is for the normal difficulty and the other is for the easy difficulty.

There are three weapons that you can switch between at any time using the 1, 2 and 3 keys. The keys W, A, S, and D move Skybear around the screen and the Space bar fires the current weapon. You can simply hold down the space bar and Skybear will keep firing repeatedly.

There are only 2 levels, with 3 minor enemies in each and 1 boss, for a total of 8 enemies in all. The music in the game was created specifically for the game.

Finally, the game comes in a .zip file that is currently 105MB. So, without further delay, here is the link to download the game in its current form.

OH! Important! Within the Skybear folder, after you unzip, are two shortcuts. Those don't work. Go into the folder SkyBearv1.1 and find the files SKYBEAR EASY and SKYBEAR HARD. Those are what you're going to want to use. Those work. Ok, here's the download.
